ARMENIA-AZERBAIJAN RELATIONS AFTER WASHINGTON

On August 28, 2025 the Caucasus Institute held the sixth discussion of the Yerevan Political Club, focusing on Armenian-Azerbaijani relations in the context of the meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan, President Trump, and President Aliyev in Washington, and its potential implications. Speakers included journalist and host Arshaluis Mghdesyan, and Liana Khachatryan, the editor-in-chief of “Business Channel” radio. They shared their insights and analyses on the current state of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, possible developments, and the potential impact on upcoming parliamentary elections. The discussion was moderated by Alexander Iskandaryan, Director of the Caucasus Institute. The Yerevan Political Club operates under the Caucasus Institute and was established as part of the third phase of the “Launching Political Clubs in Border Regions of Armenia” project, funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia.
